Leslie’s history

Leslie is a small community in the Rural Municipality of Elfros No. 307, just off Highway 16 between Foam Lake and Elfros. It is a special service area and is listed as a designated place.

Its first post office opened in 1909 under the name Leslie Station, with C. A. Clarke as postmaster. The community's name was changed to simply Leslie in 1962. The post office served the community for decades, and its last postmaster, Victoria Ann St. Amand, held the position in 1987.
